Far away from mass tourism and the big holiday destinations in Sinai like Sharm-el-Sheikh and Dahab, SoftBeachCamp appeals to those tourists who seek a more tranquil experience. The camp is run by a German-Egyptian couple and is designed for people who are looking  to enjoy   a natural setting and and an easy-going and family atmosphere.

Our camp is located at the southern entrance of Tarabin, a Bedouin settlement,  approx. 1 km away from Nuweiba  and also not far away from the main road between Taba and Sharm.

On our doorstep you find see crystal clear water and coral reefs, ideal for snorkeling. Take a walk in the mountains, or get to know the local Bedouins and learn about their fascinating culture. Due to its spaciousness, the beach is ideal for a variety of sporting activities, also yoga - meditation and QiGong groups enjoy the natural beauty. The flat, sandy beach is particularly well suited for children. You cannot  swim with a dolphin but with at least  3 turtles.

As our guest you will experience the time-honoured hospitality and culture of the Egyptians in a simple setting. Our breakfast is your choice between either Continental, Egyptian,  Shaksouka, Omelet and a variety of "western" sandwiches served in local bread and is quiet substantiell. In our beach restaurant we serve a la carte fresh fisch, oriental and international dishes.

The camp is a paradise for couples, singles, families, sunbathers, desert friends, people with burn-out-syndroms and for those who are looking for a new purpose in life. Our friendly staff is more than willing to help with anything from tours, transport and anything else  for which they can be of assistance.
